Apricot
Apricot is the country’s leading home health documentation software, designed to solve a critical issue in the healthcare industry: nurses spending more time on tedious documentation than caring for their patients. By leveraging LLM technology, Apricot enables nurses to complete their “paperwork” in minutes rather than hours, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—providing care.
Apricot started with a simple yet powerful question: “How can we help nurses streamline their outdated documentation process?” Through a thorough discovery process and a transformative vision session, we identified the problem, prototyped potential solutions, and validated them through rigorous user testing. Within months, nurses in the field were using our software to make their work easier and more efficient while collecting valuable data to help our team make further improvements.
A year later, Apricot has become a successful venture, continuing to enhance its user experience and innovate within the health-tech space. Apricot isn’t just software—it’s a solution that’s helping nurses get their lives back.

Apricot’s interface is a love letter to nurses and the staff who support them. The software is designed with two primary personas in mind: the field nurse and the office worker. The field nurse conducts evaluations and fina documentation, typically using a phone or tablet, while the office worker operates behind the scenes on a desktop or laptop, assigning and managing caseloads.
In Apricot, nurses can easily view their schedules and caseloads, access detailed patient information, perform evaluations, and capture critical data that Apricot uses to complete documentation seamlessly. Office workers can efficiently create patient profiles, upload documentation, assign caseloads, and manage workflows for field nurses. Apricot brings these roles together in a streamlined system, empowering staff to work efficiently and focus on providing exceptional patient care.

“Ko-kee” is the sound made by a small frog native to Puerto Rico. The distinctive mark can be found in drawings on cave-walls, rocks and trees all over the island.
